St Catherine’s Feast today. I’m a big fan ever since I saw her head in a cage in Siena.
Haven’t got a pic of her fingertip but I saw it there too. I think her heart is under the church somewhere and the rest of her in Rome. She was certainly some dame.

Glorious mass last night for St Mark with the Bishop, no less. (Just a pity half the congregation weren’t there to hear him!) Good music and new mass setting (Archer’s Missa Simplex) - thanks to the choir - and a stonker of a sermon.

I went to choir practice last night. Not to sing per se, but to lurk and learn the new mass setting which will be given an airing on our Patronal Festival this Friday. The Bishop is coming and we want to be at our best.
